ANTOA Successfully Conducts 6th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) 2025
The Andaman Nicobar Tour Operators Association (ANTOA) successfully conducted its 6th Annual General Body Meeting on 10th July 2025 at Hotel Mansha Palace, Marine Hill, Sri Vijaya Puram, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The meeting brought together members of the association to review the year's achievements, discuss the future of the tourism industry, and strengthen the collective vision for the sustainable growth of tourism in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. Simson, President of ANTOA, along with members of the Executive Committee. Tour Operators, Tour Boat Operators, Hoteliers, and other stakeholders actively participated in the discussions.
New Members Welcomed
One of the key highlights of the AGM was the induction of new members into the association. Membership certificates were presented to the newly enrolled members, who were warmly welcomed into the ANTOA family.
Their inclusion reflects the association's continued commitment to building a stronger and more united tourism community.
Key Achievements Reviewed
During the meeting, members reviewed several important initiatives successfully undertaken by ANTOA over the years. These included the association's efforts in advocating for a reduction in Jolly Buoy tourism charges, making the destination more affordable and accessible for visitors.
Members also reviewed ANTOA's contribution towards increasing the visitor seating capacity at the Cellular Jail Light & Sound Show, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
Future of Tourism in the Islands
The AGM also focused on the future of tourism in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Members discussed strategies for promoting sustainable tourism, improving tourism infrastructure, supporting local tourism businesses, and strengthening collaboration with government departments and industry stakeholders.
Special emphasis was placed on encouraging and supporting new tourism entrepreneurs and stakeholders, promoting professional standards within the industry, and creating greater opportunities for growth and cooperation among members.

The Annual General Body Meeting concluded with a shared commitment to work together for the continued development of the tourism sector and to further strengthen ANTOA's role as a leading representative organization for Tour Operators, Tour Boat Operators, and Hoteliers in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
